Maura H. Horodyski, Esq. graduated from the University of Denver College of Law in 1988 and was admitted to the Colorado Bar and United States District Court for the District of Colorado the same year.
One of Maura’s areas of practice is Business and Corporate Law. She has had much success in guiding her clients to 501(C)(3) non-profit status. Over the last twenty-five years, she has incorporated and served as corporate clerk for hundreds of small businesses in Maine. She has particular expertise in advising her business clients as to what types of business entities are appropriate for the particular client’s needs.
Another of her practice areas is Contract Law, involving many different applications. Most recently, her contract experience has included negotiating and drafting contracts for a local film production company that filmed a feature length movie in Western Maine. Her contract experience also includes the drafting of leases, purchase and sale agreements, for the sale of businesses as well as real estate, and employment contracts.
Maura also practices in the area of Probate Law. This includes the drafting of Wills and, Trusts, as well as representing clients in the establishment of Formal and Informal Probate Estates.
